Osteopathy is a holistic approach that aims to restore the normal function and stability of the joints to help the body heal itself. It focuses on whole body rather than just one joint or one muscle. Osteopathic practitioners use their hands to apply gentle force and techniques which include (but aren’t limited to) craniosacral therapy, visceral therapy, joint mobilization. Techniques are chosen based on the individual patient and symptoms they have reported.
